Medical Research Agency

Start Medical Research Agency

The Medical Research Agency is a state agency responsible for the development of scientific research in the field of medical and health sciences. The MRA’s aim is to build an innovative healthcare system. The Agency’s operations shall bring measurable benefits to patients – it will help to assess which new medical technologies and therapeutic methods should be used to meet the society’s needs.

The Agency implements one of the first public grant programs financing non-commercial clinical trials in our country. The research funded by the MRA creates an opportunity for Polish patients to access the latest technologies, as well as a chance for Polish scientists to participate in the global research.

The Agency’s main task is to carry out analytical activities assessing the undertaken decisions and their impact on the costs of the healthcare system operation. The compiled analyses will enable us to present specific solutions that will allow the healthcare system to operate in a more efficient way.
